Project: TOURISM LANGLEY WEBSITE
Challenge
Tourism Langley needed a way to promote the region to both residents, and potential travelers. They wanted to demonstrate Langley’s unique attractions and communities in order to draw in visitors from nearby Vancouver and the rest of the Fraser Valley. They also needed to break away from the ever increasing redundancies and mixed messages that other organizations continue to display.


Solution
By providing an events calendar, residents and visitors could plan for upcoming festivals and events. The addition of a Flickr photo feed encourages contributions from Langley’s own community. Promoting itineraries was key in encouraging nearby travelers to make day-trips to Langley and also advertised unique local attractions. By using targeted SEO techniques the website’s search results stand apart from similar organizations.
