Alongside groups including Yves Saint Laurent, Holt Renfrew, and IKEA, TIME Magazine has selected smashLAB's Design Can Change for inclusion in the Design 100. TIME's annual Design 100, which is on newsstands this month, lists the people and ideas behind today's most influential design.
Design Can Change is an initiative aimed at uniting the world's graphic designers to use their influence and purchasing power to combat climate change. In its first year, over 1,500 designers have already taken the pledge to embrace more sustainable professional practices and the site has received hundreds of thousands of visits.
The campaign was recognized in the initiatives category; other categories in the Design 100 include architecture, technology, fashion, transportation and websites. To see the complete TIME Magazine Design 100 list, click here.
