We were lucky enough to be nominated for the Cooper-Hewitt People’s Design Award for our effort: Design Can Change. The nomination was rather last moment; nevertheless, in a scant 6 hours, we climbed up the list of 322 nominees and into the top 20, just before the polls closed! The People’s Design Award gives the general public an opportunity to nominate and vote for a design of their choice. Whether an everyday object, a design classic, or an architectural landmark, voters are invited to express their views on what constitutes good design.
